Feeling down due to problems that seem unsurmountable?
Please do not despair. Our kind resident teacher, Geshe Lama Konchok and the Centre are here to help.

There are moments in life when human endeavour and intellect are ill equipped to resolve our problems. These may involve things that are more serious such as prolonged illnesses, or other more mundane things such as lack of success in one’s career, love life or financial problems.

Whilst the wisdom of the Buddha’s teachings tells us not to be attached to material things, the teachings of compassion are an equal tenet, and are there to assist us common-folk, who continue our journey in samsara. The Centre therefore offers, through our kind resident teacher, Geshe Lama Konchok, Consultations on day to day life matters, including but not limited to: –

  1. General Life Reading – analysis of the roadmap of one’s life
  1. Analysis of Obstacles for the Coming Year – usually analysed at the close of a given lunar year.
  1. Family/ Relationship/ Marriage Issues
  1. Weddings – this will include analysis of Suitable Date(s), Time(s), Place(s), Colours that the newly-weds should wear for most auspicious conditions.
  1. Starting a New Business – this will include the Suitable Date(s), and Time(s) for registering the business and/or official opening.
  1. Career Related Queries – this will address most auspicious date(s) for interviews, what colour to wear during interviews, whether to change jobs.
  1. Studies/ Academia – this will address concerns re children’s education.
  1. House/ Office Related Queries
    1. Moving House – Suitable Date(s), and Time(s) for such move.
    1. Buying/ Renting/ Rennovating a New House or New Office – Fengshui of the location etc.
  1. Health Issues, whether medically explicable or otherwise.
  1. Spiritually related concerns – which Buddhas/ Boddhisattvas should one propitiate at home, dealing with problems that one suspects may be caused by the unseen etc.
  1. Death in the family – this will cover important issues such as the many days that the wake should be held, the date and time for the funeral and cremation/ burial proper, the direction of travel of the hearse at the conclusion of the wake, advice on what can be done towards our departed loved ones having a better rebirth.
