Celebrating H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama’s 88th Birthday with Palden Lhamo Puja and smoke offerings – Online Registration

Dear Dharma friends,

On the occasion of the 88th birthday of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama which falls on 6 July 2023, our kind resident teacher Geshe Lama Konchok will be leading a series Pujas dedicated to Palden Lhamo, namely, amongst others, the Palden Lhamo Kangsol and associated smoke offerings.

Palden Lhamo, also referred to as Shri Devi and the Queen Who Repels Armies, is a protector deity and a bodhisattva abiding on the 8th bumi. She plays a special role in the lineage of the Dalai Lamas – Her divination was instrumental to the search of H.H. the Great 14th Dalai Lama after H.H. the 13th Dalai Lama entered parinirvava.

So please do come and join us on this important occasion. The puja will take place at the Centre on 6 July at 7:30pm as we dedicate our prayers towards the good health and long life of our precious guru.
