This year on Saturday 11 Nov 2023 and Sunday 12 November 2023, our kind and learned teacher Geshe Lama Konchok shall be leading the Grand Puja dedicated to Medicine Buddha which will take place over two full days at Poh Ming Tse Temple.

The event provides a rare opportunity for all the faithful together to make offerings and praise to Medicine Buddha whose blessings are extremely important (and potent) for these difficult and degenerate times where illnesses of body, speech and mind abound in our society.

It is hoped that the merits created by this virtuous activity will go a long way to purification of any negative karmic influences and to bestow all sentient beings with the much needed merits for good health and good fortune.

The selected dates are also particularly auspicious as they coincide with Medicine Buddha’s auspicious day, similar to the ritual that was held last year during which, as some may recall, miraculous events were witnessed.

This year, the event is all the more special as it will be graced by one of Geshe la’s precious lineage guru, His Eminence the 104th Ganden Tri Rinpoche, head of the Gelugpa order. His Eminence Tri Rinpoche will join online via video link to give an oral transmission (lung) of the Medicine Buddha mantras and prayers on the 11 November session at 330pm SGP time.

All Dharma friends are cordially invited to participate and anyone wishing to make an offering of fruits, flowers and/or monetary Offerings, are very welcome to contact the Centre.
