South India Spiritual Pilgrimage, 31 May to 8 Jun 2025
Maha Tare Buddhist Centre is organising a sacred pilgrimage to South India from May 31 to June 8, 2025, to visit the three renowned Buddhist temples.
This profound journey offers a rare opportunity to deepen your spiritual practice, receive precious teachings, and engage in meaningful acts of devotion and generosity.
As part of this sacred pilgrimage, we also inviting everyone to make a meaningful impact by supporting several noble causes that embody compassion and bring hope to those in need.
1. Robes Offering
We aim to raise funds to provide new robes for 3,500 monks, with each set of robes costing $50.
2. Puja/Sangha Offerings
We plan to visit numerous monasteries in the region, make Puja offerings, and provide almsgiving and meal offerings to the Sangha members.
3. Cow Liberation
We hope to save cows from slaughter and offer them secure sanctuaries where they can live peacefully and with dignity.
4. Ambulance Donation
We hope to sponsor an ambulance to serve the local communities. This fully equipped vehicle will be prepared to handle emergencies and ensure swift transportation of patients to city hospitals.
