Maha Tare Buddhist Library

Dear Dharma friends, we are proud to announce the opening of Maha Tare Buddhist Library on 24th June 2017.

The idea of a library filled with books on Buddhism has been in Geshe Lama Konchok’s mind for quite awhile since the we were at our old centre along Geylang Road, however due to the space constraints he was not able to accomplish this goal.

Since the day he laid eyes on the new centre at current location, this idea immediately popped up and was determined to make it come true. With much thanks and gratitude to a generous sponsor, we are able to see the fruition of this initiative for everyone to enjoy and gain more knowledge on Buddhism.

Our Library has a collection of over 600 Buddhist books carefully selected by Geshe Lama Konchok and Geshe Nawang Thinley from Sere Jay Monastery. You can view the our book titles online at Libib.

All are welcome to come to the library to browse through the collection and borrow some of the books for up to a month. We intend to open the library daily from 1000hrs to 1800hrs. In the event that the Centre, is holding some pujas or prayers sessions outside, the opening times will be changed accordingly.
