Geshe Lama Konchok

Venerable Geshe Lama Konchok is a Tibetan astrologist. He was interested in the astrology since his early days and studied it for many years, with a purpose of helping people using this ancient art.

He has studied this ancient art and science from various masters in Tibet and India including the Great Geshe Jayang Gyatso from Amdo Tashi Tshir Tibetan Monastery in Tibet, who was well known in Tibet and China, spent years in deep meditation and retreat perfecting this ancient art.

Geshe Lama Konchok holds the honourable degree of Geshe from Sera Jey Monastic University in India for Advanced Buddhist Study & Practice. He joined the monastery at the age of 12. He initially underwent basic training in elementary logic and dialectics, and finally Vinaya (monastic ethics and discipline). Finally, in recognition of his academic accomplishments and in-depth knowledge of both scriptures and practice according to the Tibetan Gelukpa tradition, he was awarded the much coveted degree of Geshe by Sera Jey Monastery in 2012.

Over the years he has performed various Tantric rituals and helped over 3000 people, in various countries like India, Nepal, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Canada. He has a number of followers in these various countries he has travelled. Over the past five years of travel, Lama has helped numerous people and most of whom have become his students.

This has been a source of inspiration and encouragement to further work on preserving the rich culture, tradition and knowledge of the lineage of his astrology which originated from Lord Manjushri. The most important practice that is kept in the mind is equality to all, whether rich or poor.

His objective is to outreach and help as many people with the spiritual teachings he has received and practiced.
