2.2. Participants are expected to arrive on time and observe proper conduct befitting a spiritual centre (e.g., silence in prayer halls, respectful attire, turning off mobile devices).
2.3. MTBC reserves the right to refuse entry or request withdrawal from any activity if a participant’s behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or poses a risk to others.
2.4. By participating, you acknowledge that certain activities (e.g., meditation, physical prostrations) involve physical exertion and you participate at your own risk. We recommend consulting a physician if you have health concerns.

3. Donations & Financial Contributions

3.1. All donations (including dana, offering funds, and programme fees) are voluntary and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3.2. Donations are used solely to support MTBC’s operational expenses, the maintenance of our premises, the sustenance of our resident teacher, and the propagation of Buddhist teachings.
3.3. Tax-deductible receipts (where applicable under Singapore law) will be issued for qualifying donations in accordance with IRAS regulations. It is the donor’s responsibility to provide accurate personal details for receipt issuance.
3.4. We reserve the right to decline any donation without providing a reason.

4. Use of Premises

4.1. MTBC premises are sacred spaces. All visitors must:

• Remove shoes before entering prayer halls.

• Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered).

• Refrain from eating, drinking (except water), or smoking within the halls.

• Treat all religious artefacts, statues, and scriptures with utmost respect.
  4.2. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  4.3. Photography, videography, or audio recording is prohibited during prayers and teachings without prior written permission from MTBC management.

5. Website & Online Content

5.1. All content on our website (including text, images, audio, and video) is the intellectual property of MTBC unless otherwise credited. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
5.2. We strive to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee completeness or error-free content. We reserve the right to modify or remove content without notice.
5.3. External links are provided for convenience only; MTBC does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

6.1. MTBC collects personal data (e.g., name, contact details, donation records) solely for administrative, communication, and donor-receipt purposes.

8. Code of Conduct & Respect for Lineage

8.1. MTBC adheres to the Gelugpa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. All teachings and practices are delivered in alignment with this lineage.
8.2. We respect all Buddhist traditions and other faiths. Discriminatory, divisive, or abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
8.3. Any form of solicitation, commercial promotion, or unauthorised distribution of materials on our premises is strictly forbidden.

9. Termination of Access

MTBC reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend access to our premises, programmes, or online platforms for any individual who violates these Terms or acts in a manner contrary to the spirit of the Buddhist community.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
