On the 3 September 2015, Maha Tare Buddhist Centre welcomes the new Yamantaka statue specially crafted by the best craftsman in Nepal. Yamantaka is important to the Gelug school and Je Tsongkhapa, who founded the Gelug school. Je Tsongkhapa’s teacher dreamt of Yamantaka just before his birth. Je Tsongkhapa himself received direct guidance from Manjushri. Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Manjushri. Many Gelug Geshelas and lamas have achieved success through the practice of Yamantaka. With blessing from Yamantaka, may everyone achieve success in the practice of dharma.
