Pilgrimage Highlights & Itinerary
Day 01 – 04 July | Arrival & Acclimatization in Leh
Arrive in Leh (3,500m above sea level) and take time to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, enjoy a gentle walk through Leh Main Market, soaking in the unique Himalayan atmosphere.
Day 02 – 05 July | Sham Valley Sightseeing
Embark on a scenic journey through the historic Sham Valley, visiting:
- Alchi Monastery – one of Ladakh’s oldest monastic complexes with exquisite murals
- Lamayuru (Moonland) – famous for its surreal lunar-like landscape
- Sangam – the sacred confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers
- Magnetic Hill – a natural wonder defying gravity
- Hall of Fame – a museum honoring the region’s history and heritage
Day 03 – 06 July | Spiritual Journey to Tso Moriri & Life Release Ceremony
Travel through breathtaking mountain passes including Taglang La to reach the serene Tso Moriri Lake.
Participate in the Sacred Life Release (Tsethar) Ceremony, where 130 goats will be compassionately freed. This solemn and powerful ritual will be accompanied by prayers and dedications for global peace and the liberation of all beings.
Day 04 – 07 July | Pangong Lake Excursion
Visit the world-renowned Pangong Lake, famous for its mesmerizing shades of blue that shift throughout the day.
Return to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering panoramic Himalayan views.
Day 05 – 08 July | Leh Monastery Tour
Explore Ladakh’s rich spiritual heritage through visits to:
- Shey Palace – the ancient royal residence
- Thiksey Monastery – a majestic hilltop monastery resembling the Potala Palace
- Hemis Monastery – Ladakh’s largest and wealthiest monastery
These sacred sites offer opportunities for prayer, reflection, and connection with the Dharma.
Day 06 – 09 July | Departure from Leh to New Delhi
Transfer to Leh Airport and fly to New Delhi. Rest and overnight stay, carrying with you the blessings and memories of Ladakh.
Day 07 – 10 July | National Museum, New Delhi
Visit the National Museum of India to pay homage to the sacred Buddha relics, an extremely rare and precious opportunity to connect with the historical Buddha and deepen one’s faith and devotion.
Day 08 – 11 July | Return to Singapore
Depart for Singapore, concluding the pilgrimage with a heart enriched by spiritual experiences, accumulated merits, and renewed compassion.
