Dear Dharma friends
We are sorry to announce that in the light of increased concerns regarding the number of Covid 19 cases in Singapore within the community, our original plans for Vesak Day will have to be cancelled.
Whilst it is important for us to celebrate Vesak Day and whilst the activities which we had originally planned are extremely meaningful, the safety of those in our community must take priority.
We wish to thank the Government for its support by, amongst other things, granting approval for us to utilize the open field area close to the Waterloo Street Guanyin Temple for the intended week-long celebrations.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all who continue to suffer from ill health and other repercussions arising from the pandemic and We hope that our prayers from this Vesak Day shall chase away all the dark clouds that continue to obscure us.🙏
